Film Screening
of
Anne Regitze Wivel, "Soren Kierkegaard." The original Danish
edition runs
165 minutes. There is an abbreviated 60 minute version with English
subtitles which is the one we would most likely screen..
The screening is occurring in the Buttery which is on the first
floor of Larkin Building(15 Devonshire Street), Trinity College.
It is jointly sponsored by the Soren Kierkegaard Society of America which
is having a dinner from 6 pm -7:15 pm at the Buttery, following a reception
there at 5:30 pm. Members of the Circle are invited to the reception and
dinner which is $57 (Can), per person. If you would like to join us for

Members of the Kierkegaard Circle are also invited the next day (Nov.
23), to the Soren Kierkegaard Society session from 9:00 am - 11:30 am in
the Bay Room of the Westin Hotel, downtown, Toronto. Two members of the
Circle will present:
9:00-10:00 Professor Henry Pietersma " The
Passion of Thought,"
10:00- 10:30 break
10:30-11:30 Professor Graeme Nicholson "Direct Communication."
The Soren Kierkegaard Society of America consists of members from the
American Academy of Religion as well as from the American Philosophical
Association. It meets in conjunction with the annual meetings of the two
learned bodies. Professor Mark Lloyd Taylor is the President of the
